Latin Music Research & Preservation Grants

Protecting the Legacy of Latin Music. Through its Research and Preservation Grants, the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation supports research, documentation, and the preservation of folkloric traditions, helping safeguard Latin music's history and cultural heritage for future generations.

Guidelines

Grants are awarded to qualified researchers, musicologists, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations whose projects align with our mission to preserve and advance Latin music’s cultural heritage.
Supported projects must produce research or preservation outcomes that are made freely accessible to the public.
All applications undergo a competitive review process conducted by the Grant Committee.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Research and preservation grants help protect the cultural legacy of Latin music by supporting the individuals and organizations dedicated to documenting its history, safeguarding its traditions, and sharing its cultural significance. From folklore and oral histories to archives and academic research, these efforts help ensure that Latin music’s rich heritage remains accessible and continues to inspire future generations around the world.
