WHO WE ARE
The Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation® is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established by The Latin Recording Academy® in 2014. To date, we have donated more than $6.5 million to students, schools, music programs, musicologists and researchers from around the globe, with the support of The Latin Academy’s members, artists, corporate sponsors and other generous donors.
MISSION
To further international awareness and appreciation of the significant contributions of Latin music and its makers to the world’s culture through college scholarships, grants and educational programs.
OUR PRIORITIES
Providing scholarships to gifted music students ages 17 to 25 interested in Latin music genres.
Giving grants to individuals, musicologists, scholars, organizations, and institutions worldwide for the research and preservation of Latin music genres.
Developing and delivering music education programs, activities, and events, to schools in need and provide music students the opportunity to learn about the industry and career opportunities after high school.
